The Sports Neuropsychology Society is now accepting abstract submissions for poster presentations at the 6th Annual Sport Concussion Symposium in Washington DC on May 3-5, 2018. We welcome innovative submissions from all disciplines addressing any aspect of sports-related concussion, including but not limited to basic science, epidemiology, assessment, and intervention/management.
Deadline for submissions: Poster submissions will be accepted through Monday, March 5, 2018 at 11:59pm Eastern time. Submissions should be made via Google form, which can be found at the following url: https://goo.gl/forms/LU9JjcpkTVj89FSt2.
Review, Selection, and Status Notification: Submissions will be selected on the basis of merit by means of blind review. Authors will be notified of the outcome of their submission via email on or about Tuesday, March 26, 2018.
*Outstanding Trainee Research Award: Each year, an abstract submission that demonstrates excellence and originality in the underlying research will be acknowledged with the Outstanding Trainee Research Award, as determined by the abstract review committee. The winner will be announced at the conference, and the award includes reimbursement of conference fees as well as a $250 prize. To be eligible, the first author of the abstract must be a student, intern, or fellow. Please indicate if you are eligible and would like to be considered for the Outstanding Trainee Research Award on your submission.
Select Student Oral Poster Presentations: The Poster Chair and members of the Program Committee will select 2 outstanding Student posters for 10-minute Oral Presentations. The First Author of these outstanding posters will present their findings at the Pre-Conference, on Friday May 4th at 10:40 AM.
Poster Presentations: Authors whose abstracts are accepted are asked to display their posters at the Symposium throughout the conference. Authors should plan to be available to discuss their work during the poster session on Friday evening, with additional viewing time on Saturday morning.
